Tim is a Licensed Psychologist with more than 30 years of experience working in outpatient clinics, private practice, and hospital-based and specialized medical care settings. He has served as a psychology department director and service chief, a clinical program director, and as a clinical supervisor in multiple organizations, in addition to providing psychological consultation, diagnostic assessment services, and individual and group psychotherapy. Tim has worked with adults of all ages facing a broad range of developmental issues, life transitions, traumatic experiences, and emotional adjustment concerns. He has had significant training and clinical experience in helping individuals living with chronic illness and those experiencing severe health conditions, including cancer survivors.

Tim integrates multiple approaches and clinical perspectives as a psychotherapist, including cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamically oriented, and existential-humanistic therapies. He is committed to helping people achieve their goals through a balance of compassion and support, increased insight and self-awareness, and the development of coping skills and active steps toward behavioral change.

Tim completed his undergraduate studies (Psychology and Philosophy) at Montclair State University (NJ), his master’s degree in educational psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University, and his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at St. John’s University.
