Melissa Sferra, B.S.W.

Intake Coordinator / Clinician Credentialing / Administrator

Melissa is our primary Intake Coordinator at BCA.  She will guide you through the intake process and match you with the right clinician for meeting your therapeutic goals. Melissa attended Temple University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She has over 7 years experience in customer service relations, as well as, volunteering at rehabilitation and care centers from NJ to PA. When Melissa is not working, she enjoys traveling or simply being at home with her family and reading a delightful book.

 

Pamela Brickhouse, A.B.A

Accounts Receivable / Billing Coordinator

Pam has her Associates degree in Business Administration and has over 30 years of experience in accounting principles. She manages BCA’s accounts receivable department and collaborates with clients to manage their invoices or assist with payment plans when necessary.  When Pam is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.

 

Kaitlin Ivins, M.A

Medical Assistant / Administrator

Kaitlin earned her medical assistant certification from The American Institute.  Kaitlin performs administrative and clinical duties to support BCA’s psychiatric nurse practitioner.  Kaitlin coordinates patient scheduling, serves as a triage for patient questions, secures necessary medical records and consent forms, and assists with prescription refills.

 

Danielle Marie

Medical Biller / Receptionist

Danielle is one of our revered certified medical billers from LCCC. She helps distribute money on the insurance side of billing. Any questions regarding your claims or explanation of benefits, Danielle will be there to assist. She is adept at handling all aspects of the billing process, from submitting claims for payment to analyzing and solving issues with insurance claim denials. She also helps as the front desk receptionist to check you in for your appointment and help you schedule your next appointments. When Danielle is not working, she is sewing toys, beds, and hammocks for her little furry pets.

 

Paul Woodling, MSPT, MSB

MSPT, MSB, Owner/CEO

The late Paul “Woody” Woodling, (1972-2021) was the co-owner of Bethlehem Counseling Associates along with his wife, Kimberly Woodling.  Paul spent the majority of his career in Medical and Technology Sales, prior to he and his wife purchasing BCA from Pete and Linda Palmo in 2016.  Paul assisted with the day-to-day operations at BCA, with a focus on insurance company and business marketing relations.  He held two master’s degrees in healthcare and science: physical therapy and cell biology.  Paul brought his quick wit and love of laughter to the office environment on a daily basis.  He was a charismatic and engaging leader who put a smile on everyone’s face.  His legacy and mission to foster a positive, lighthearted work environment with high employee morale will live on at BCA.
