Paul is the Co-Owner and CEO of Bethlehem Counseling Associates, along with his wife Kim Woodling. They purchased the business from the esteemed Palmo family in January of 2016. Prior to that, he assisted as Practice Manager of BCA.
Paul has spent the majority of his career in Medical and Technology Sales. He now assists with day to day operations at BCA, with a focus on Insurance and Marketing relations. He has two master’s degrees in healthcare and science: Physical Therapy and Cell Biology.
Brandy Bate, A.B.A
Office Manager/Billing Specialist
Admin Summary / Bio:
Brandy designs and assesses the business operations and oversees and evaluates the staff here at BCA. She applies the CEO’s goals and objectives for the company. She also manages the financial actions and cash flow of the company, accounts payables, insurance claims and denials, as well as, analyzing and distributing the money from the clients EOBs. Through her career she has gained extensive experience with over 13 years conducting administrative functions, customer service care, and accounting/billing principles. When Brandy is not working, she loves hosting picnics and celebrations for her family and enjoying the small things in life with her daughter.
Pamela Brickhouse, A.B.A
Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist

Pam has her Associates degree in Business Administration. Through her career she has gained 30 years of experience in accounting principles. She collaborates with clients on managing their invoices and assists with day-to-day transactions. She will assist you with payment plan in helping achieve your financial goals at BCA. She maintains our financial records and analyzes our financial reports. When Pam is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.
Melissa Sferra, B.S.W.
Intake Coordinator/Administrator
Admin Summary / Bio:
Melissa is our primary Intake Coordinator at BCA. She will lead you in the registration process and support you in finding the best clinician to help achieve your therapeutic needs. Melissa attended Temple University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She has 7 years experiences in customer service relations, as well as, volunteering at rehabilitation and care centers from NJ to PA. When Melissa is not working, she enjoys traveling or simply being at home with her family and reading a delightful book.
