Kimberly Woodling
MSW, LCSW, Owner, CEO
Kim is the owner of Bethlehem Counseling Associates. She began at BCA as an independently contracted therapist in 2010. Then, in 2016, she and her (now, late) husband Paul took over the ownership of BCA. Kim has grown the practice to meet the demands of therapy in the Lehigh Valley. As CEO, Kim works on business development and marketing strategies, clinician and vendor contract negotiations, company long and short-term goals, business financials, and is the visionary for the “big picture” of BCA.
When Kim is not working, she is still thinking about work. 🙂 She also enjoys home decorating and organizing, travel, socializing with friends and spending time with her 2 cats.
Ben Johnson
Medical Assistant / Administrator
Ben is the newest member of the BCA administration team. He assists our psychiatric nurse practitioner with client intakes, administrative and other clinical duties. In addition, Ben coordinates patient schedules, medical record keeping and assists the therapists with whatever they need. Ben’s quick wit and sense of humor brings a lively and entertaining characteristic to our administrative team. When Ben is not working, he enjoys exercise, being outside, cooking and playing with his dog Ellie.
Kaitlin Ivins, M.A
Intake Coordinator / Medical Assistant / Administrator
Kaitlin earned her medical assistant certification from The American Institute. Kaitlin, known for her kind and warm approach with clients, coordinates a client’s first appointment with a well-matched therapist. Kaitlin also performs administrative duties to support BCA’s psychiatric nurse practitioner and the independently contracted therapists. Kaitlin coordinates patient scheduling, serves as a triage for patient questions, secures necessary medical records and consent forms, and assists with prescription refills.
When Kaitlin is not working, she is busy mothering three young boys.
Marsha Davis
Billing and Credentialing Specialist
Marsha Davis serves as the Billing and Credentialing Specialist at Bethlehem Counseling, where she plays a vital role in supporting access to care through accurate, ethical, and compassionate administrative services. With extensive experience in medical billing, insurance verification, and reimbursement management across diverse healthcare settings, Marsha is dedicated to ensuring clarity, transparency, and efficiency for both clients and clinicians. She is known for her calm, patient-centered approach, strong attention to detail, and commitment to protecting confidentiality while navigating complex insurance processes. A member of the Society for Human Resource Management, Marsha values collaboration, and integrity in supporting high-quality mental health care. Outside of work, Marsha enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, dining out, and riding motorcycles.
Jessica Hobayan
Billing and Credentialing Specialist
Jessica is the newest member of the BCA administrative team, serving as medical billing staff for the practice. She supports daily operations by handling benefits and eligibility verification, claims submission and follow-ups, and coordination with insurance providers to ensure accurate and timely billing. Jessica works closely with therapists and administrative staff to help maintain organized records and smooth patient services. When Jessica is not working, she enjoys spending time traveling with her family, dining out, and actively participating in gospel ministry at their church.
Paul Woodling, MSPT, MSB
MSPT, MSB, Owner/CEO
The late Paul “Woody” Woodling, (1972-2021) was the co-owner of Bethlehem Counseling Associates along with his wife, Kimberly Woodling. Paul spent the majority of his career in Medical and Technology Sales, prior to he and his wife purchasing BCA from Pete and Linda Palmo in 2016. Paul assisted with the day-to-day operations at BCA, with a focus on insurance company and business marketing relations. He held two master’s degrees in healthcare and science: physical therapy and cell biology. Paul brought his quick wit and love of laughter to the office environment on a daily basis. He was a charismatic and engaging leader who put a smile on everyone’s face. His legacy and mission to foster a positive, lighthearted work environment with high employee morale will live on at BCA.
