Hello! I’m Shannon !

ATR, LAPC

Shannon is a Registered Art Therapist and has her Associate Counseling License. She completed her Bachelors in Art Therapy at Mercyhurst University and holds a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Marywood University.

Shannon has worked with a variety of populations, from children to adults. She has worked with adults with TBI’s, community mental health, as a social worker in the community, and at partial programs with teens and adults. In addition, she has worked with those struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADHD, and physical health issues. Shannon has utilized both traditional therapy methods, as well as art therapy directives that aid with addressing goals identified in therapy sessions.

Shannon includes the creative process into her sessions, allowing for a creative element to help with fostering growth and mindfulness. Utilizing therapeutic art interventions allows for a creative space in order to build a sense of self, increase mindfulness, and engage in problem-solving. Shannon holds a humanistic and CBT approach to her sessions that aid with building rapport and supporting each client alongside them through their journey.
