Micaela Ott, Intern
Counselor Summary
Hello! I’m Micaela!
INTERN
Micaela is a Graduate Fellow at Bethlehem Counseling Associates. She is a Master’s level graduate student pursuing her counseling licensure through Divine Mercy University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Micaela’s person-centered therapeutic approach integrates CBT, DBT, attachment-based therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and transgenerational theory. She is interested in how emotional and bodily awareness can help clients understand more of what they are experiencing and empower them to work through obstacles in front of them. Above all else, Micaela seeks to honor and reflect the goodness and dignity of her clients while accompanying them through what they are experiencing in life. Micaela is being supervised by Chelsea Renna, Psy D., and Laura Danner, LPC.
