Counselor Summary

Hello! I’m Stephanie!

MC, LPC

Stephanie Kapustic is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. Stephanie received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kutztown University. Stephanie then went on to receive a Master of Science Degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. Stephanie completed her internship at Muhlenberg College providing counseling to college students.

She has also provided outpatient counseling in community-based clinics, as well as provided individual, group and family therapy to youth in a foster care and group home settings. During this time, she has gained experience working with youth who exhibit sexually problematic behaviors. In 2017 Stephanie attended The Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) conference where she obtained knowledge on preventing and responding to sexual harm. She has served as an adjunct professor of psychology at Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Stephanie especially enjoys working with adolescents and young adults who may struggle verbalizing their thoughts and feelings and are resistant to making steps for positive change. She strives to provide a safe environment for her clients to express themselves freely without judgement by incorporating an eclectic mix of skills and techniques. Stephanie believes therapy is a journey and encourages her clients to be excited for what is to come.

"Stephanie was great with my 9 year old daughter. Made her feel extremely comfortable since day one. Found ways to connect with her and help her figure out her feelings without feeling interrogated. Definitely recommend her!"

"I am so thankful to have a therapist who is as patient, understanding and knowledgeable, and validating as Stephanie is. I honestly wouldn't have made it through this past year without her."
